Disney/Pixar Blog Hop -- Day One

Welcome to Day One of the Disney/Pixar Blog Hop!!

Once again, Shawn and Melissa have assembled some incredibly creative friends to share some amazing goodness with ya!!  Be sure to visit BOTH days of the hop as there is plenty of NEW creativity tomorrow!! :)

If you're joining me from that cozie-creatin' creative chic named Kathy, then you are in the right place!!  If you're just popping in from your dashboard to see what I'm up to, then be sure to CLICK HERE to start at the TOP, cuz Mickey says you can't see everyone without starting at the the start!! :)

For my project today, I created a FUN mini tag album which could also be used to hold autographs and memorabilia from a trip to the park!!
It starts off looking like this:
Remove the belly-band...
And open the flaps for lots of little pockets to keep lots of little tags!! :)
This mini tag album is created from 5 black A2 envelopes...  Simply adhere one envelope inside the flap of the next one to make it as long as you'd like!! :)
Isn't that so much FUN so far???
Even Mickey is popping in to say, "Why, Hello!"
My favorite part (besides Mickey) is the bow...  How fun!! :)
Oh, Boy!!  I hope you had a GRAND time today!! :)  My paper is all from Creative Memories, as are the Mickey phrase stickers and bright colorful Mickey stickers!!

I'd like to thank Shawn and Melissa for AGAIN including me in this SPECTACULAR hop!!  You are sure to enjoy LOTS of creative ladies with this crew!! :)

We have a GRAND PRIZE for this Blog Hop donated by ContainYa Crafts! You can have YOUR CHOICE of a Scrap'n Tote or a Scrap'n Easel! Each blog in this two day hop has a special letter, and when all of the letters are put together they spell out a secret phrase.

My letter is . . . . "D"

Once you have stopped at each blog in the hop and collected all of the letters, simply email the phrase they create to bloghopcontests at gmail dot com. All entries must be in by Midnight on Monday, November 21st. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, November 22nd at http://craftychicsblog.blogspot.com/

I do have a bit of Blog Candy magic for one lucky hopper today...  Simply leave me a comment answering this FUN question to be eligible to win one of my 6x6 paper packs and some fun embellishments:  "If you had to describe your favorite DISNEY memory in just ONE WORD (and it couldn't be "magical", what word would that be?"

I'm the LAST STOP in the HOP for TODAY, but be sure to march on back tomorrow for another line up of super creative FUN!! :)

Here's a list of the entire hop, in case you get lost or want to revisit anyone!!

Great idea and super cute (yep, the bow's got my number, too!)
My favorite Disney memory summed up in a word would be "thanks"!
When my DD was 7 and it was our very first time at Disney with the kids and we spent all day at Epcot and her 5 yo brother was asleep in Dad's arms as we headed to our car (we tried to stay off property to save money and so we could go to Kennedy Space Center easily) and our DD thanked us a LOT the whole time we were walking - and I'm not sure we'd really heard her thank us for much previously! We knew right then that it was all worth it and that was the magic of Disney for us!

I love how your projects are not just what you see at first glance . . . they keep going with more and more . . . filled with surprises!

My word . . . special . . . the staff at Disney really made my daughter feel special when she was 3 years old and we went to Disney. She wanted to go on the Star Wars ride, but was not tall enough. A staff member saw her crying and asked if she got scared on the ride, and I said no, she was upset she did not get to go on the ride. The staff member then called to the front of the line and told them to hold one of the simulators because she was going to be "running a test on it" . . . she then took my daughter and I in a side door, opened a control panel and turned of the motion controls for the seats . . . with the motion controls off it was just a "movie" like sitting in a regular theater, so my daughter could go on it! (height requirement was only due to the seats moving around) So it was JUST myself and my daughter in the simulator. My daughter was on cloud 9 for the rest of the day! I could not believe that Disney went out of their way like that to make one little girl feel so special!

I really like the mini album. My favorite, though, was the bow! Such cute ribbon! I am a ribbon fanatic! :D
I have NEVER had the opportunity to go to Disney. I promised my children that we would go, but never had the finances to. Now, one is married, one is engaged and the 3rd is wanting to go still. So I guess the word would have to be "unaffordable".---maybe sometime in my lifetime, though. :D
