Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge -- Java Great Day!!

Happy Sunday, friends and followers!! :)  I'm so thankful that you are stopping by to visit today!!  It is once again a GORGEOUS fall day here in Western Pennsylvania!!  It sure makes me look forward to Sundays when it's so beautiful outside!!  The air is crisp, the sun is shining, and fall is in full swing!! :)

As you may know, I'm taking a small break right now from Bloggie-Land...  I have LOTS of work responsibilities at this time of year.  So...  While I miss being able to visit so many blogs and participate in challenges, it makes me appreciate that I can look forward to plenty more fun in the weeks and months ahead!!  It's so easy to get caught up in the "busy-ness" of internet life, but it's important to remember that LIFE is happening right around each one of us...  If you are feeling overwhelmed by all of the online activities, I encourage you to take a break, try something new, and enjoy all the blessings and goodness that are waiting for you!!  Sometimes this is just what we need to feel refreshed and encouraged again...

It is one of my favorite challenge days again -- Simply Sunday Challenge Day over at Getting Cricky!!  This week, we were asked to create a card, layout, or project inspired by the theme, "It's Tea-Time!"  Since the weather is getting cooler, we're featuring projects with a HOT beverage -- Coffee, Tea, or Me, ahem, Hot Chocolate!!  We can't wait to see you use your CREATIVITY and show us your interpretation of the challenge!! :)

I decided to show you a project you may have seen from me before....  Some sweet little coffee favors!!
My little Keurig K-cups are the perfect favors for weekend crops, right???  Cuz at 4am, who doesn't need a cuppa joe to perk up???  :)
Super simple to make and so much fun to receive...  Simply wrap the K-cups in tulle, tie it closed with a ribbon, add your stamp and bling to pre-cut tags (I have a ton of these on hand -- cut at 1" with the Plantin SchoolBook Cricut Cartridge, but you could easily cut these with a trimmer), two little handmade stick pins, and you are ready to gift your co-workers and friends with a BOOST of energy!! :)

I used the Coffee & Tea For You & Me Set for this...  Just look at all the AWESOME mix-n-match options on this set:

Be sure to check out all the WONDERFUL Stamp Art Sets by K Andrew Designs...  Then, I hope you'll hop on over to see what all of my Design Team Sisters made for inspiration and enter YOUR project for this week's Simply Sunday Challenge at Getting Cricky...  We can't WAIT to see what you create!!

Dont' forget to stop by and see Kristal's NEWEST Stamps available HERE!!

Until next time,

Amy,
I love you little coffee favors and how you decorated them. How did you do the stick pins? Did you clip them off short and kinda glue them into the tulle to keep them from slipping? I'm very curious because when I make my stick pins I don't like leaving the long extra piece of pin hanging.
Thanks
Sherry

Amy, these are so cute and perfect for the coffee drinker. I like using coffe mugs with Hot chocolate and chocolate candy...comfort things for a long hot bath in the winter...or...put anything to drink/combo. Great idea!

Take care!
