Let's Talk Turkey Blog Hop -- DAY ONE: Thankful for You Card :)

Welcome to DAY ONE of the "Let's Talk Turkey" Blog Hop!!

I'm so excited that you could join some friends and me for this WONDERFUL two-day hop!! Please be sure to visit BOTH days for maximum ideas, maximum FUN, and maximum chances to WIN!! I have some SUPER prizes for a few hoppers, so be sure to check out all of those details below!!

The HOP STARTS HERE, so you have arrived at the perfect spot in the Turkey Coop!! If you are just popping in to visit, you are starting at the beginning -- we've got a bunch of Gobble-Gobble-Goodness -- you'll want to continue right along for this hop as you won't want to miss out on any of the FUN!!

For my project I have created.....
A fun TURKEY card perfect for the season!! :)  I borrowed the turkey stamp from a friend (and can't remember the name of the stamp company at the moment)...  I added just a touch of watercolor pencils for a tiny touch of color...
I also added some of my very-most-favorite Crickle Ribbon from 3 Girl JAM (great quality ribbon at EXCELLENT prices!!  Please check it out!!)...  I love how easy this ribbon is to work with -- Just a line of adhesive and clustering this ribbon turns out AWESOME!! :)
Some Kaiser Bling brightens of the look of the card and stands a contrast to the Tim Holtz walnut stain that I used on the edges of the torn paper and to darken the embossing on the brown background...
And there ya have it!!  I hope you've enjoyed my card today and are inspired to make one of your own AND continue along the rest of the Turkey Hop!! :)  There's a whole bunch of Turkey Talk for you to see!! :)

Of course I will have Blog Candy for a few lucky winners this weekend!!  Be sure to comment on each of today's posts AND come back tomorrow for all the FABULOUS details of what you could WIN!! :)

Thank you again for visiting, for the next stop in the Turkey Coop, please hop to: Shawnee!!

Here's a list of the entire hop... Be sure to follow along from here so you don't miss anyone!! :)

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!I don't know where to start! My husband LOVES your button (sounds kinda funny doesn't it? LOL)But SERIOUSLY, you are so amazingly talented! I LOVE the turkey and the way that you made it look with the slight touch of color- just enough to add dimension but not take away from the image. (and the pumpkin on the side is great for the project staging as well :))THE RIBBON IS AWESOME! A definite purchase for me! I can't wait to create with it-thank you for sharing! Most of all, thank you SO MUCH for hosting a wonderful hop as always, allowing me the honor to participate and for being such an inspiration to us all... YOU ROCK! Can't wait for tomorrow's creation!!

Amy, the vintage look of your Thanksgiving card is timeless. I think the softness & elegance is so opposite to the creations we normally see and it's refreshing!! The ribbon is a great addition and the tearing just makes it perfect....like YOU!! Thanks again for such a fun hop, I hope to make it through to honor such wonderful hostesses!
