Welcome to the Thanksgiving Blog Hop!!
We're so happy you could join us for this super-fun hop showcasing cards, layouts and projects that feature everything to be thankful for!! You'll find an array of ideas throughout the hop -- From decorations to gift ideas and more, we hope you'll enjoy each and every project along the way!!
If you've hopped over from Sue, then you are in the right place!! If you've just popped in to visit my blog or are reading this via email and you'd like to join our Trick-or-Treat FUN, then please CLICK HERE to start at the beginning with Lynda's blog because... It's always BEST to start at the start!! :) This is a TWO-DAY hop, so be sure to catch both days for maximum ideas (you'll find the entire line-up below my post)!!
For the hop today, I've created .......
... a two-page layout perfect for celebrating Thanksgiving!! :) Today is also the start of a NEW challenge over at the Celebrate The Occasion Challenge Blog... We were challenged to create a project for Thanksgiving, and the twist is to use a PUNCH!! Can you tell what I used the punch for??? YES -- All of the smaller circles are from a circle punch!! Isn't that FUN??? I'll bet YOU can come up with a Thanksgiving project using a PUNCH to enter in the challenge at CTO too!! :)
My background paper is from imaginesce (so are the "give Thanks" and tree die cuts!). The brown cardstock is Bazille, and the teal and green cardstock is from Core'dinations... I sanded all of the cardstock and then distressed the edges with Tim Holtz's NEW Walnut Distress Stain -- Oh boy, do I LOVE that stuff!! :)
Isn't that owl in the tree just the cutest little guy??? And doesn't he look thankful to have that tree to perch and watch the leaves gather around him??? What are YOU thankful for today? Well, I have a little bit of Blog Candy to thank you for hopping by today... Leave me a comment letting me know what YOU are thankful for to be entered to win a few surprise goodies from me!! :) If you leave me your email address or a way to contact you, I'll be sure to let you know if you are the winner (otherwise, please check back next week)...
I'm the very last stop in the hop today, so if you missed any of the stops, be sure to hop on to see the rest!! If you've finished up here, then hopefully we've shown you enough creative projects that YOU will want to create a fun Thanksgiving card, layout, or project too!! Remember, if you use a PUNCH, you can enter your Thanksgiving project at the Celebrate The Occasion Challenge Blog... There's even more creative inspiration from the rest of the CTO Design Team, so be sure to check it out!! I can't wait to see what you create!! :)
Thank you again for checking out my project... Remember to visit all the stops for more chances to WIN (simply follow the sneak peek links below)!!
