Last week, I received some VERY exciting news... I was invited to be on the Lasting Memories Design Team!! :) This was HUGE for me because I LOVE doing layouts, and Lasting Memories is ALL about layouts (and layouts only -- no cards!!)... I look forward to joining an AWESOME team of talented friends -- I hope you'll pop on over to Lasting Memories Layout Challenges to become a follower and enter the weekly challenges!!
I was really looking forward to this week's challenge -- Why??? Because not only did Karen challenge us to make a Black & White Layout... But she also asked us to use ONLY Black & White photos!! WOWZERS!! So pull out some old photos or change some new ones to be black & white, and create a layout for this week's challenge!! I can't wait to see what you come up with....
There's PLENTY of inspiration over at Lasting Memories, so be sure to stop over there to see what the team has come up with... For my Black & White layout, I decided to go digital...
This is a very meaningful layout for me... I took these pictures on our trip to New York City last year. This was my first trip back to NYC since the horrific events of ten years ago... Even now, thinking about the devastation and tragedies of that day evoke incredible emotion for me. If you would like to see the other layouts I created for the 9/11 Remembrance, I would love for you to visit that post HERE... For a larger picture of my layout with more detail, please CLICK HERE...
Ready to try out some digital scrapbooking software now??? You can create BEAUTIFUL layouts quickly and easily with the same software that I use!! Not only did I create my digital layouts, but I also changed all of my pictures to Black & White with my Creative Memories StoryBook Creator 3.0 software!! It's even ON SALE this month!! For more details, or to try the FREE version, please CLICK HERE...
Now it's your turn!! Create your Black & White layout (with black & white pictures too!) and link it up at Lasting Memories Layout Challenges...
I can't to see what you create!! :)
Until next time,

what a wonderful way to start out with LM. I am so glad that you chose this as your entry. The way you described your thoughts makes me feel as if I were there. I also love that you did the lo in black and white because it gives it so much more depth.
Great to have you on the team at Lasting memories and can't wait to see more of your wonderful creations.
Hugs

I would be honored if you came to see my blog here
Amy - what a stunning way to start off your DT term with us. Your LO is so surreal and beautiful. I still can't believe it was 10 yrs ago. We watched the specials on TV last night and it was like yesterday .. all that devastation. I just sat and cried for all those ppl. I LOVE the pools they've made and I also LOVE that they are re-building. I think that's so important.
Again, your LO is stunning and I look fwd to seeing more from you!
Congrats on becoming a designer. Like the layout! TFS
