Decorate To Celebrate: Challenge #6 -- Reunion Party: Favors and Pins!! :)

Welcome to another WONDROUS Wednesday, Love To Crop! Friends and Fans!! :)  We are having one of those perfect summer days today!!  The humidity has gone away (YAY!) and a beautiful breeze is blowing through the windows...  I can hear the leaves rustling on the trees and the birds singing in delight!!  The grass is lush and green and the sky is bright and blue!!  What a perfect day to smile at the sky!! :)

Today is the start of Challenge #6 at the Decorate To Celebrate!! Challenge Blog!!  The theme for this challenge is REUNIONS!!  So we want to see all of your decorations and party supplies celebrating everything fantastic about reuniting with family and friends!!  :)

This past weekend we were able to spend some time with friends and family at The-Girl-Child's Graduation Party!!  It was a colorful event with her rainbow theme!! :)  I'll be sharing those pictures with you before long...  The best part of the day is that my brother and his family were able to travel down from New York for the weekend!!  My adorable nephew is quick to make us laugh with his little stories and adventures...  The time spent with our far-away family is always a pleasure and inspired me to create some goodies for the Decorate To Celebrate!! Challenge this week!! :)
I found these adorable little jar candles that measure only about 3.5" high -- perfect for a party favor!!  So I added a strip of decorative paper, a red grosgrain ribbon and bow, and a handmade flower embellishment...
Next, I created some coordinated napkin rings...  A 6"x1.5" strip of decorate paper topped with a 6"x1" strip of black cardstock and a strip of red cardstock (punched with my Stampin' Up! border punch) make the ring in the back.  An oval rosette accented with some handmade embellishments (punches and bling!) and a letter 'V' finish off the napkin ring...
Everyone needs a pretty name tag at a reunion, right???  So I created these fun pins (pretty for the girls and plain for the boys!)
I used adhesive backed pins (found in any craft store) on both pin styles...
I used letter stickers for the names (you could easily print these on cardstock instead)...  The rosettes are made with a 1"x12" strip of decorative paper scored at 1/4" increments and then fan-folded (mountain/valley).  Adhere ends to each other, squeeze together at the center, and then glue the center with a good, strong adhesive (or glue gun).  To make the oval shape, simply squeeze the centers and adjust until it's in an oval shape before gluing the center.
Finally, I added a few of my little flowers and two handmade stick pins tied with a ribbon.  As you can see, this little pin also makes a GREAT gift topper and tag!!  I just might wear this little pin to my next shin-dig!! :)
And there you have it!!  A selection of ideas for YOUR next reunion or get-together!!

Now it's YOUR turn!!  Link up your NEW Neighborhood Block Party or BBQ Themed (or ANY Themed) party project at the Decorate To Celebrate!! Challenge Blog...
