Girls Night Out -- Pooh Font, MPS Challenge #11

Gonna have a good time...  Gonna celebrate...  Gonna laugh and enjoy the company of good friends...  When I read that Challenge #11 over at My Pink Stamper was to use pink, green, and black, I decided it would be great to make a layout to celebrate the good friends in my life -- My friend Nicki has promised me a stress-free evening of dancing and having a good time...  So I'm already looking forward to it!! :)
I completed this layout in (are you ready?) TWENTY minutes!!  Anyone who knows me can tell you that it is next to impossible for me to do ANYTHING in 20 minutes...  Well, I only had 5 hours to do as many challenges as I could (I was hoping to finish 9 -- HA!!  That didn't happen!!)...  I actually managed to finish 5 challenges in 5 hours (and I even took a break to eat -- which is why I only had 20 minutes to finish this layout!!)...  With the two I did yesterday and the one I did this morning, I was able to finish EIGHT of the twelve challenges over at MPS...  Now I'll just be hoping and hoping that I win that IMAGINE that they're giving away  (update:  I didn't win the Imagine -- Congrats to the lucky winner who did though!!  I still came out a winner though because I realized that I could finish all of these layouts AND a few cards when I have a little direction --- That means I'll be arriving at my next scrap-all-weekend-event with some CHALLENGES to finish! LOL)!! :)
Anywho...  This was a super-simple-quick-and-easy FUN layout to do...  I used my CM circle punches for all the dots, cut two mats (pink at 4.5"x6.5", green at 5.5"x7.5" -- to mat a 4x6 photo), added a simple sheer ribbon, and cut the title out with the Disney Pooh Font Cricut Cartridge (marker and marker shadow features).  The only thing I didn't add was a little bit of bling -- And I can almost guarantee that I still will add some when the super-fun picture from our super-fun night out gets added too. :)

I hope you've enjoyed all of my projects from the last few days -- Crafting can be extremely therapeutic...  And some days I need more therapy than others!! :)   Remember to hop on over to the NSD Challenges at My Pink Stamper to see all the entries (and winners)...  It really is amazing to see how many people participated!! :)

Until next time,
