What I Love About Fall & Halloween Blog Hop -- Day TWO

For day two, I decided to focus on my favorite thing about FALL...  Do you know what that is???  It's the changing leaves!! :)  Here in Pennsylvania, we are blessed with some very beautiful fall days...  We all love to go for a drive and just look in amazement at the palette of color during Autumn....  So I made this card with some beautiful leaves...

 

To create the background for this card, I crumpled up a piece of 5.5" x 4.25" of ivory decorative paper and distressed it with SU!'s Chocolate Chip ink (it kinda looks like leather in real life!!)...  I added a sheer brown ribbon and bow, then twisted some 1/4" strips of cardstock, punched some leaves (and inked them), and added a little bit of bling...

I added a tag stamped with "Harvest Blessings" -- This is one of the fabulous mix-n-match sentiments available on the from the "Fall-O-Ween" Stamp Art Set by K Andrew Designs...  I love how many different sentiments you can create with this one set, but it's even more exciting to see how many sentiments you can create with ALL the mix-n-match sentiments!!  :)

This card was created to match my favorite fall project so far...  My "Harvest Blessings" Explosion Box!!  Isn't that fun???  Here's a few pics of the explosion box if you didn't get to see it when I originally posted it...

I used the Creative Memories Reminisce Power Palette for the layers in this explosion box...  If you would like to see more pictures and details, you can see the original post by CLICKING HERE. :)
